Ace Geovanny Garate

Ace Geovanny Garate of Emporia, Kansas passed away May 15, 2019 in Branson, Missouri.

Ace was born on September 8, 2005 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Carlos and Amy Painter Garate.

Surviving family members include: parents, Carlos and Amy Garate of the home; brother, Ethan Garate, Emporia; twin sisters, VeraLynn D.L.P. and VaidaLynn D.L.P. Garate of Emporia; grandparents, Carlos and Mercedes Garate of Emporia, Kimberly and Paul Lowe of Topeka, and Timothy Painter of Idaho; great-grandparents, Manuel and Germania Palomino and Pete and MaryBeth Clark of Gardner; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Carlos Garate and Beatriz Vazquez, Shirley Franks, and Byron and Jean Painter, and a step-grandmother, Michele Moser. Ace was a seventh-grader at Emporia Middle School and a member of Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church.

Celebration of Life services will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at W.L. White Auditorium, Emporia. The family would like you to honor Ace and wear red or pink to the service.
