Adrian Marcel Lewis Solano, 13, of Emporia, Kansas died on February 18, 2011 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
Adrian was born on May 26, 1997 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of David and Sandra Knight Solano. They survive at the home.
Other survivors include: sister, Samantha Lewis Solano of Emporia; grandparents, Bill and Alice Fauerbach of Emporia, and James Knight of Escondido, California; great-grandparents, Mary and Richard Persinger of Emporia; aunts, Krystee Pearson and husband Shawn of Emporia, and Becky Hill and husband Kevin of Bowling Green, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents John and Ernestine Fauerbach, and a cousin, Jennifer Werner.
Adrian attended Walnut Elementary School and was currently an eighth-grader at Emporia Middle School in Emporia. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Emporia.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at the Church of the Nazarene, the service will be conducted by Pastor Mark Henson of the church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia. Visitation will be from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Memorial contributions to the Adrian Lewis Solano Memorial Fund may be sent in care of the funeral home.
