Alice L. Aman

Alice Aman, our beloved mother, sister, and friend has passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026 in Baldwin, Kansas. Born on March 12, 1946 in Emporia, Kansas, Alice was 80 years old.

Alice was born and raised in Emporia and later moved to Lawrence. She is now reunited with the love of her life M. Robert Aman, whom she held close to her throughout her life.

Alice was a kind, giving and passionate woman who had a special gift for making people feel loved and welcome. She worked many years for the Teachers Credit Union in Emporia before becoming a paraprofessional at Emporia High School. Working with children was something she truly loved. The connections she made remained an important part of her life.

Alice had a generous heart and often claimed family friends as her own family and grandchildren. She had a special way of making people feel like they are important and belong. Her love and compassion extended far beyond her immediate family.

She had a great gift and love for arts and crafts. She enjoyed creating things and was always excited to share her talents with family and friends. Her creativity brought joy to those around her.

Alice is survived by her son, Michael Aman, her daughter, Keli Aman, as well as her grandchildren, Katie and Emmie Groat, and her brother, Paul Tucker. She also leaves, behind countless friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to be considered part of her family.

She is deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered. Rest In Peace.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Emporia, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. The Rosary will be recited at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home Friday, October 2, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. The family will receive friends following the rosary.
