Alice Marie Sanders, 81, of Council Grove, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. There are no services planned.
Alice M. Schoemborn, the daughter of Fredrick and Laura Bostick Schoemborn, was born April 21, 1932 in Frohna, Missouri. She worked in housekeeping at Morris County Hospital and also at Diversicare of Council Grove.
Alice is survived by a son, William “Billy” Sanders of Emporia; and a half-sister, Sharon Georgeplous of Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Schoemborn; four stepsisters; and three half-sisters.
