Alma D. Robledo, 93 of Emporia, Kansas died Monday, April 3, 2017 at Holiday Resort Care Center in Emporia.
Alma was born December 4, 1923 in Agenda, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Selma (Bowman) Vrana. She worked for over 40 years as a private duty nurse 20 of those for Mrs. Kathrine White. Alma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Emporia.
Alma married Woody Robledo on November 29, 1968 in Emporia, Kansas. He survives at the Holiday Resort Care Center. Other survivors include sons Kurt Bazil and wife Candy of Akron, Ohio, Kim Bazil and wife Gita of Chicago, Illinois, Victor Robledo and wife Angie of Andover, Kansas, Chuck Robledo of Houston, Texas, Richard Robledo and wife Gloria of Madera, California, daughter Kathryn Adkins of Michigan City, Indiana, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren all across the country.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Pastor Rob Clausen of the First Baptist Church will be officiating. Cremation to follow service. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.
