Amanda Fesseh, 33, Atlanta, Georgia, died March 15, 2012 in Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the New Covenant, 2300 East 6th Avenue, Emporia, Kansas. The service will be conducted by Rev. Chester Morris of the church. Interment will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia. The family will receive friends at the church an hour before the service.
Amanda Khethiwe Fesseh was born April 23, 1978 in KZN, South Africa. She had lived in Emporia and Staten Island, New York, before settling in Atlanta.
She was an accountant for BNKJ, Atlanta. Amanda was a tax return specialist, member of NABA, a conscious humanitarian, a brilliant educator, and caring motivator. While in Emporia, she was a member of the Church of the New Covenant.
Surviving family members include her husband, Bill, of the home; parents, Alvin and Jani Carter of Emporia; brothers, Andile and Joshua; and a host of relatives in the United States and South Africa.
