Anastacia M. Aldrete, 89, Emporia, Kansas, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Anastacia was born April 15, 1934 at Santa Maria de Valle Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Emeterio Murillo and Cura Arias. She married Pedro Aldrete in 1949 in Santa Maria del Valle Jalisco, Mexico, he passed away September 28, 1978 in San Miguel, El Alto, Mexico. She is survived by her sons; Miguel, Juan, Javier, Raul, Carlos, Oscar, and Jaime Aldrete, daughters; Esther Setzkorn, and Juanita Collins. Twenty-one grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catherine Catholic Church, Emporia, on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Thursday evening March 29, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. The family will receive friends following the Rosary.
