Angela Carlene Austin, Emporia, Kansas, died November 23, 2011 at Newman Regional Health, Emporia. She was 47.
Angela Carlene Jones was born at Emporia, Kansas on July 30, 1964, the daughter of Theran H. and Carole A. (Livingston) Jones. She married Brian K. Austin in 1987. He survives of Grand Junction, Colorado.
Other surviving family members include her mother, Carole States, Emporia; her father, Theran Jones, and his wife, Jacque, of Las Cruces, New Mexico; sisters, Anna Hammon, Joplin, Missouri, and Nikki Huff and Penny Adams, Emporia; and step-brothers, Loren Winters, Ontario, Canada and Allan Winters of California.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Angie Livingston, Pete Jones, and Iva Martin; and a sister, Kimberly Adams.
She had worked for a time at Finish Line Convenience Store. Angela was a Lifetime member of the Auxiliaries of Lowry-Funston Post #1980, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Ball-McColm Post #5, American Legion, both of Emporia.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, November 29, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00.
