Anna Belle Burch, 99, of Emporia died on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Emporia Place.

Anna was born on December 1, 1917 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of Alfred E. and Grace M. Dryden Brewer. She married Jarvis Burch on July 5, 1936 in Emporia. He died on June 1, 2003 in Emporia.

Survivors include: son, Alfred E. Burch (Glenda) of Cullman, Alabama; daughters, Norma Stinnett, Kathleen Dalton (Fred), and Christy Schreck (James) all of Emporia; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Mary Ann Ryer, sisters Lillian McClelland and Edna Carter.

Before retiring, Anna was a secretary at Emporia State University for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Emporia and the American Baptist Women. Anna will be remembered for her beautiful smile, joyful heart, and deep love and affection for her family and church.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Emporia with burial following at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to First Baptist Church can
