Avery Elizabeth Hart

Avery Elizabeth Hart, 18 years old, of Emporia, Kansas passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at her home. Avery was born on December 22, 2005, in Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Britton and Alisa Hart. Avery attended Timmerman Elementary and recently graduated from Emporia High School.

All who knew Avery, knew her infectious smile, strong will and joyful personality. Avery made an impact on so many without ever saying a word. Avery may not have used many words, but she always got her point across. Woe to the person who came between Avery and her beloved cheesy potatoes and Wavy Lays Potato chips. Avery lived her life as an example we should all follow. She found joy in the small things, loved those in her inner circle with a big love, and never gave up. In her short 18 years of life Avery demonstrated unimaginable courage and determination.

Grateful to have shared Avery’s life are her parents, Britton and Lisa Hart; her sisters, Kaylen and Ellie, her grandparents Jeff and Joy Hart; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Glenn and Dolores Croucher and her infant brother Bennett Nathaniel Hart.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2024, at Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church in Emporia. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the church.  Burial will take place at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Osage City at 2:00pm. The family would like for everyone to show their support by wearing purple for Avery. Memorial contributions can be made to Camp Hope and sent in the care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O.
