Barbara “Ann” Moran, 85, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2016 at Newman Regional Health, after a short illness.
She was born to John Tracy and Maude Louetta (Stroud) Hughes in Emporia, Kansas on December 24, 1930.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and her two sisters, Peggy Bain and Norma Jean Andera, as well as their husbands, Warren and John.
She leaves behind her a family of strong, independent individuals who understand the importance of a loving family, and the value of home.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Delbert Wesley; her son, Jeff Moran (Susan) of Emporia; two grandsons, Paxton Moran (Tori) of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Patrick Moran (Janelle) of Emporia; and granddaughter, Paige Moran of Leadville, Colorado. She was also blessed with, and enjoyed three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Maggie and Peyton Moran.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Interment will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery for family members.
