Barbara (Schmidt) Pontius, 92, Emporia, Kansas and formerly of Oxford, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor, Emporia, Kansas. Mrs. Pontius worked as an Administrative Assistant at the School of Business, Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Oxford. Memorial is with the Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Emporia, Kansas. Contributions may be sent through Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
