Barbara Kay Rogers

Barbara Kay Rogers, Emporia, Kansas, died January 20, 2026, at Newman Regional Health. She was 78 years old.

Barbara was born on January 21, 1947, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Monica Mace.

Survivors include her daughter Kylee Pluimer and her partner Jeremiah Burkett, Emporia, Kansas; and her grandchildren Ian Plumier-Rainsbarger and Caroline Plumier-Rainsbarger.

She is preceded in death by her mother, her half sister Patricia Mace, and her sons Curtis Rogers and Jeff Rogers.

Cremation is planned, with services later at Embrace Church. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
