Bertha M. Tuepker, 97, formerly of Wichita and Emporia, Kansas, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City, Kansas.
Bertha Marie Andres, the daughter of Edward C. and Marie E. Winkler Andres, was born on March 14, 1916 in California, Missouri. She married Louis E. “Tip” Tuepker on May 28, 1940 in California, Missouri. He passed away on September 5, 2007.
Bertha is survived by a daughter, Marilynn K. Privat of Osage City; two grandchildren, Keena and Spencer Thompson, Cordell and Kristin Privat; and four great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Andres; and a sister, Wanda Winn.
The graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
