Betty Louise Hull, 93, of Emporia, Kansas, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Flint Hills Care Center in Emporia.
Betty Louise was born July 14, 1920 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Charles and Clara M. (Garber) Kearns. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Science Church and Railroad Women’s Auxiliary.
Betty married William Hull on November 16, 1937 in Crown Point, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by two sons, William E. Hull of Holton, Missouri and Roger Hull of Emporia; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death are her parents, and a sister, Donna Schnabel.
Cremation is planned. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emporia Friends of the Zoo and sent in care of the funeral home.
