Beverly Ann Kochheim, 78, of Emporia, passed away comfortably on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home.
Beverly was born on June 25, 1937 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Frank L. and Louise Lynn Keefover. She married Leonard Chamberlain in 1955 in Emporia and resided in Olpe. They had three children: Lynette Nuessen Oglesby, currently residing in Chandler, AZ, Amy Kane, who lives in Brownsburg, IN, and a son, John, who preceded her in death as a teenager. Beverly and Leonard later divorced. Beverly married William (Bill) R. Kochheim on May 31, 1989 in Emporia. Bill was laid to rest on March 25, 2012 in Emporia.
Beverly is lovingly remembered by her daughters, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a cosmetologist and business owner for over 31 years in the Emporia community. She was active at the local American Legion and was a proud breast cancer survivor of more than 10 years.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Patio Garden in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
The family requests no flowers, with memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Ball-McColm Post #5, American Legion sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
