Bo Ruffin Fowler, the infant son of Jamie D. and Melanie T. Mayo Fowler, died peacefully in his parents’ arms Friday, October 11, 2013 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was born on September 17, 2013.
He is survived by his parents, Jamie and Melanie Fowler of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters, Harlee Fowler and Hayden Fowler, both of Wichita; grandfather, Dale Fowler of Emporia; grandmothers, Jo Fowler of Emporia, and Marcella Mayo of Mulvane, Kansas; great-grandmother, Martina Myers of Mulvane; and great-grandfather, Guy Papon of Fredonia, Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. A private family burial service will be on Wednesday at Fowler Cemetery, southeast of Emporia.
