Bonnie Mae Stinson

Bonnie Mae (Olsen) Stinson, 89 of rural Admire, Kansas died Tuesday, October 30, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born May 28, 1929 in Admire, Kansas, to John William and May Elizabeth (Eisenhower) Olsen. Bonnie married Dale LaVerne Stinson, May 29, 1949, in Topeka. Dale passed away January 7, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Dale. She is survived by two daughters: Janet (John) Marcotte, of Allen; and Sharon (Mike) VanGundy of Americus; two sons: Keith (Debbie) Stinson, of Osage City; and Brian (Renee) Stinson, of Allen; one sister, Arvis Miller, of Topeka; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Admire, Kansas on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 A.M.  The service will be conducted by Pastor Ryan Shatzer, Overland Park Baptist Church, Overland Park, KS and Pastor Diane Euler, United Methodist Church, Admire.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, north of Admire.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
