Caley Adam Lawson

Caley Adam Lawson, 35, of Kansas City, Missouri went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 12.

Caley was born September 8, 1983 in Emporia, Kansas to Charles and Kim (Richardson) Lawson.  He was a beloved son and brother who brightened the world with his wicked sense of humor.

Caley attended Andover High School and graduated in 2002.  In High School he excelled in athletics.  He was an accomplished athlete in basketball, golf and soccer.  Caley studied at Florida Atlantic University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Caley’s talent in golf lead him to become a teaching pro and he spent his adult years teaching, coaching and playing.

Caley is survived by the love of his life, Elizabeth Paige Orscheln of Kansas City, Missouri; his sister, Kristen Ferate (Anthony Joseph Ferate) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his brother, Corey Lawson (Jan Lawson) of Hutchinson, Kansas; and Grandparents, Phillip and Willowdean (Byrd) Richardson of Emporia, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Kim Lawson.

A public celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Emporia, Kansas. Pastor Norbert Tegtmeier will officiate.
