Carol A. Coleman, 70, of Emporia died on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her home.
Carol was born on February 27, 1945 in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Frank and Naurine M. Zimmer Wright. She married Romero Micheaux in December of 1978 in Omaha, Nebraska. He died April 25, 1992.
Surviving family members include: sister, Jeannie Miller and husband Tim of Chesterfield, Michigan; niece, Kristen Miller; and nephew, Matthew Miller.
She is preceded in death by her husband; mother; and fathers Joseph Frank Wright, and Edwin Schultz.
Carol was a legal secretary for many years, and retired from the Lyon County Attorney’s office in 2010. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olpe, Kansas.
Cremation is planned, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe. Burial will follow at Maydale Cemetery, southeast of Olpe.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday evening, October 27, 2015 at the church. Memorial contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Buck Animal Welfare Fund may be sent in care of the funeral home.
