Carol Yvonne Rossillon

Carol "Yvonne" (Dudley) Rossillon, age 91, of Emporia, Kansas, died of cancer on August 11, 2025.

She lived. She died. She didn't want us to make a big fuss about this obituary.

Yvonne went to Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. She met Joseph P. Rossillon, and they were married July 2, 1955, after he had served in the Army at the end of the Korean War.

They had five children: Suzanne Griepentrog (Troy) of Boone, North Carolina; Roxanne Rossillon of Charleston, South Carolina; Jerome Rossillon (Leslie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Michelle Rossillon (John Nickerson) of Tuscon, Arizona; and Jacqueline Rossillon Schrader (Brian) of Pratt, Kansas. She is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and a granddaughter, Monique Accuosti.

A special note from Yvonne: Be happy. Raise of glass of cabernet for me. Enjoy a steak and some chocolate. It's a wonderful world.

Visitation will be at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olpe, Kansas, on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Followed by burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
