Catherine Ann Hagemann, Olpe, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor at the age of 102.
  
  
  Catherine Ann Lawler was born December 12, 1908 at Lebo, Kansas, the daughter of Jeffrey and Minnie (McGrew) Lawler. She married Joseph F. Hagemann at Olpe, Kansas on June 16, 1936. He died January 8, 1996 at Newman Hospital, Emporia.
  
  
  Surviving family members include: sons, James A. Hagemann of Colorado Springs, Colorado, William L. Hagemann of Wichita, Kansas, and Phillip M. Hagemann of Burlington, Kansas; daughter, Sylvia Wecker of Emporia, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
  
  
  Mrs. Hagemann was preceded in death by: two sons, Jerome and Frank Hagemann; two daughters, Cathy Hagemann and Rose Marie Nichols; a grandson and a granddaughter.
  
  
  She was a graduate of Lebo (Kansas) High School and taught school prior to her marriage. Following marriage she was a homemaker and was involved in the family farming and ranching operation.
  
  
  Mrs. Hagemann was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe, Saint Ann’s Altar Society, and the Flying Needles Club.
  
  
  The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:30 at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe, Kansas, with Father Anthony Williams, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Olpe.
  
  
  The Rosary will be recited at the church at 7:00 PM Sunday evening. Following the Rosary, the family will receive friends in the church.
  
  
  A memorial has been established with the Endowment Fund of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe. Gifts may be sent in care of the funeral home.
