Charles Thomas Pinkston

Charles Thomas Pinkston, 59 of Emporia, Kansas died Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home.

Charles was born December 13, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas the son of David L. and Verna (Hudson) Pinkston. He was a bus driver for the Mental Health Center in Emporia until his retirement, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Point, Kansas, was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Voices of Chase County High School Singing Group.

Charles is survived by his brother John Wesley Pinkston of Emporia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: James Pinkston and a brother and sister that were not named.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be 11:00 Friday, November 2, 2018 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Pastor Ron Harris of the First United Methodist Church in Emporia. Inurnment will be in the Cedar Point Cemetery in Cedar Point, Kansas at a later date.
