Chelsea Lynn Gold, 26, of Blue River, Colorado, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco, Colorado after receiving injuries from being involved in an automobile accident.
Chelsea was born August 19, 1989 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of David Neil and Cheryl Lynn (Bletscher) Gold. She was a graduate of Emporia High School and worked as a Sales Manager for Holiday Inn Express in Frisco, Colorado.
She enjoyed the outdoors, including snowboarding, hiking, and camping. She lived life to its fullest next to being a great mother to be proud of. She was compassionate and caring with a smile that would melt your heart. Chelsea will truly be missed by the ones she touched.
Chelsea is survived by the love of her life, Tony Harris of Blue River, Colorado; son, Clayton Michael Danielson of Blue River, Colorado; her parents, David and Cheryl Gold; grandparents, Thomas H. Gold of Goff, Kansas, and Wilber Lee Tarrant of Emporia; and brother, Joshua David Gold of Breckenridge, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alyce Gold, Myrna Barger and David Bletscher.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Pastoral Minister Christine Potter of the First United Methodist Church in Emporia will be officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.
Memorial contributions may be made to a fund to be established for the benefit of her son.
