Chester Wamser, 64, Harveyville, Kansas, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home.

Chester Howard Wamser was born May 13, 1953 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Preston Eugene and Mary Ellen (Helberg) Wamser.

Surviving family members include his daughters; Marcie (Michael Bartlett) Wamser, Emporia, KS, Charla Wamser, Myrtle Beach, SC, Hannah ( Randy ) Gerberding, Mayfield, KS Josie (Dustin) Alexander, Ottawa, KS, brother; Alan (Angie)Wamser, Osage City, KS, sister; Debbie (Evan) Ellis, Lebo, KS, grandchildren; Marcel and Chaniece Wamser, Emporia, KS, Kai Wilkins, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Asher Alexander, Ottawa, KS, ex wife Charlotte Wyda Wamser & Ellen Johnson Wamser.

Preceded in death by Preston & Mary Wamser, his sister Cheryl Patton, and ex wife Marsha Kay Partridge.
During his lifetime Chet was a Cowboy, and was well known for training horses and dogs. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and 4-H. He enjoyed fishing, and being outdoors.

Cremation is planned.
