Clyde Lesley Giffin, Jr., 84, of Waverly Kansas died August 12, 2010 at the Sunset Manor in Waverly.
Clyde was born on June 13, 1926 in Waverly, Kansas the son of Clyde Lesley and Theresa Lorene Noblett Giffin. He married Helen E. Gibson, she died on March 2, 1968 in Topeka, Kansas. He later married Bertha L. Stevens in 1969 in Waverly, Kansas. She died on January 28, 2004 in Topeka, Kansas.
Surviving Family members include:
Step-Daughter Rita Caldwell in Wildwood, Florida.
One Nephew, and Two Nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two wives, and a brother Earl A. Giffin.
Clyde worked in Topeka shipping steel fixtures before moving to Waverly and working in construction around the Waverly area. Clyde was also a school bus driver for many years in the Waverly School District. He was a member of the Waverly Baptist Church in Waverly.
Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Sunset Manor in Waverly. A memorial has been established to the Sunset Manor in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
