Danny Dee Cline, 66, died Sunday, May 24, 2015, after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was born December 14, 1948 in Emporia, Kansas, to Earl and Ann (Newman) Cline. Danny was a graduate of Emporia High School, Kansas State Teachers College, and served in the US Navy from 1970 to 1974.
Danny retired in 2008 after 32 years with ATSF and BNSF Railroads. He loved “old-time” rock and roll, and was a ham radio enthusiast for many years.
He is survived by his brother, Gary Cline; sister in-law, Jeanette Cline; niece, Lisa Cline; and great nephew, Casey Cline, of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He also leaves behind his companion cats, Lefty and Righty. He was preceded in death by his parents.
