Darton Vaughn Poff of Emporia KS, died on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, in Hastings NE.

Darton was born on September 10th, 1992, the son of Gary Lee and Marlina Sue Poff. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Marlina Poff of Burlington KS, his brother, Ric Poff of San Diego CA, his sister Kaylani Bronson of Emporia KS, his grandparents Dick and Shirley Poff of Emporia and his two children Brayleigh and Oliver of Gothenburg NE.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Bette Smith formally of Bazaar KS.

Darton was a loving and caring father who thought the world of his children, he passionately followed the KC Chiefs and Royals baseball. He loved to go fishing with his family and friends, playing disc golf and spending time with his 'grandpa' Bob.

Cremation has been planned and a remembrance of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday May 16, 2026, at Twelfth Ave Baptist Church, Emporia. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
