Debra Lynn Ikerd, 51, of Emporia died on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Newman Regional Health.
Debra was born on September 24, 1965 at St. Mary’s hospital in Emporia the daughter of David H. and Joyce M. Roberts Wilhite. She married Randall S. Ikerd on May 7, 1994 in Emporia, Kansas. He survives at the home.
Surviving family members include: husband, Randall Ikerd; sons, Lane Ikerd and Luke Ikerd both of Emporia; mother, Joyce M. Wilhite of Emporia.
She is preceded in death by her father David H. Wilhite.
Debra was a registered nurse at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. She was a member of the Lyon County 4-H and involved in the Hartford Booster Club.
Funeral services are planned 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Burial will take place southeast of Emporia at the Chicago Mound Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Lyon County 4-H or Hartford High Booster Club can be sent in care of the funeral home.
