Debra Sue Knoll

Debra Sue Knoll of Emporia, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at her home. She was 73.

Debra was born on September 28, 1952, in Belleville, Kansas, the daughter of Leslie and Dorlene Cower Cossel. She married Theodore Knoll on September 29, 1969, in Junction City. He died on October 17, 2017, in Emporia.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Knoll, Sr. Clyde and Leslie Knoll both of Topeka; daughters, Dawn L. Howe of Emporia, Lacianna Knoll of Topeka, Debbra Knoll of Topeka, Mary Staufenberg; brother, Glen Cossel of Salina; sisters, Sandy Gilbert of Arizona, Melissa Bertram and Ruth Bennett both of Arkansas; Grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Toni, Kenny, Jenny, Stephanie, Justyce, Trisha, Ashley, Amber, Ted, Leslie, Zack, Sharon, Jimmy, Shantell, Mia, James, Elizabeth, Angel, Luci, Julian, Zelli; great-grandchildren, Shiann, Jimmy, Brandon, Pegan, William, MarryRose, Zaiden, Tatum, Kieghian, Rhiannon, Izzy, Cat, Ezra, Deklyn, Faith, Zamian, Maci, Maddie, Ethan, Elijah, Surreelyon, Willow, Hunter, Oakley, Liam, Andre, Adrian, Dallas, Hazel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, great-granddaughter Ida Mae and Jazzy, grandson Jose, brothers Tony, Bob and Jack, sister Lavina.

Debra was a CNA and CMA. She was a member of the Hope Chapel in Emporia.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home with the service on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
