Deloras M. Lee, 78, of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Cottonwood Falls.


Deloras Mae Drummond, the daughter of Donald William and Hazel Marie Counsellor Drummond, was born on April 15, 1936 in Strong City, Kansas. She married Louis Alexander Wilder in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She later married Roy E. Lee on April 15, 1974 in Marion, Kansas, and he also preceded her in death on November 7, 1978.

Deloras is survived by a son, Kenneth Wilder of Great Bend, Kansas; four daughters, Cindy Fuqua, Linda Campbell, Becky Hardin, and Kathy Swift all of Cottonwood Falls; five brothers, Jerry Drummond of Strong City, Harry Drummond of Oklahoma, Richard Drummond of Emporia, Bill Drummond of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Steve Drummond of Mt. Vernon Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Bernhardt of Marion and Becky Janousek of Salina, Kansas; and eleven grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a brother, Donald Lee Drummond; and a sister, Vera Pierce.

Deloras was a retired cook for the Cottonwood Falls Rest Home and was a member of the Elmdale United Methodist Church, the Bunco Club, and the Democratic Women.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Elmdale United Methodist Church. Pastor Kim Shank will officiate. Burial will follow in Strong City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Elmdale United Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
