Delores Dallas Lambert, 76, died January 3, 2012 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor, Emporia, Kansas.
Delores Dallas Gilchrist was born June 6, 1935 in Kingman, Kansas the daughter of Wilbur & Tillie Viola (Lingenfelter) Gilchrist. She was a graduate of Kingman High School and was a homemaker. Delores was a member of Life Church in Emporia, Kansas.
Delores married Gerald Lee Lambert on November 11, 1961 at Newton, Kansas. She is survived by: a son, Roy Lambert of Emporia; daughters, Patricia Lipson of Emporia, and Katherine Sprecker of Americus, Kansas; grandchildren, Jennifer Lipson of Joplin, Missouri, David Sprecker, III of Emporia, Sharee Lambert of Emporia, Nicole Tollett of Oceanside, California, Gerri Sprecker of Emporia; and a great-grandchild, Talen Hart of Oceanside, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughters, Sheryl Lambert and Norma Lambert.
A joint service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Life Church in Emporia with her husband, Gerald Lambert, who died December 31, 2011. Pastor Tony Lantz and Pastor Chris Baker of the church will be officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 P.M. that day in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
A Time of Remembrance will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia.
