Delores Carlene Pitts, 82, of Emporia died on Monday, January 2, 2017 at her home.
Carlene was born on April 30, 1934 the daughter of Carl and Mary Lamb Peak. She married James “Jim” B. Pitts on September 2, 1956 in Emporia. He died on April 29, 2008 in Emporia.
Surviving family members include: son, Dale Pitts and wife Connie of Emporia; granddaughters, Crystal Pitts of Kansas City, Missouri, and Crystina Nolan of Emporia; great-granddaughter Avery Nolan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James B. Pitts, and brother Kenneth Peak.
She was a homemaker.
