Delores Ann “Lola” Schneider, 51 of Emporia, Kansas died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Holiday Resort Care Center in Emporia.
Lola was born January 28, 1966 in Emporia the daughter of Vincent Guerrero and Ernestina (Tavares) Ramirez. She worked in Custodial Services at Emporia State University until she became too ill to work. Lola was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia.
Lola married Randy Schneider and they later divorced. She is survived by her daughter Laura Schneider of Paola, Kansas, her mother Tina Ramirez of Emporia, her friend David Pacheco of Emporia, brothers Johnnie Green and wife Geri of Saginaw, Texas, Ricky Guerrero of Wichita, Kansas, Daniel Guerrero of Topeka, Kansas, Phillip Guerrero of Gladstone, Missouri, sisters Sue Ann Barnes and husband Mark of Weir, Kansas, Patricia Baray of Emporia, Alicia Dingman and husband Darin of Emporia, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Vincent Guerrero, grandparents Modesto and Juana Tavares and Joe and Patricia Guerrero.
Cremation is planned. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia. The Celebrant will be Father Brandon Farrar of the church. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Inurnment will be at a later date.
