Delsa Marie Overall

Marie Overall, 90, Emporia, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Osage Nursing Center, Osage City, Kansas.

Delsa Marie Overall was born on March 26, 1934, the daughter of Orion O. and Hattie E. (Beede) Cates. She married Edward E. Overall, who passed away in 2008. Marie is survived by her daughter; Ella Torres, Emporia, Kansas, brother; Lee Cates, Emporia, Kansas, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E Overall, daughter, Nancy E Overall, who passed away April 15, 2000, sister Helen Cates and brother Jack Cates.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Emporia. Marie was a stay at home mom who looked after her children and her husband.

Cremation is planned. The memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, 605 State Street, Emporia, Kansas 66801. A graveside service will be held that afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at the Wellsville Cemetery, Wellsville, Kansas.
