Diana V. Davidson, 86, Emporia, Kansas, passed away at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
Diana V. Settlemyer was born in Iola, KS on May 25, 1937, the daughter of Ivan M. and Virginia V. (Dickerson) Settlemyer. Diana married Roy W. Green in Texas on July 9, 1957. He passed away December 23, 1982. On March 17, 1984 she married Lloyd E. Davidson, he survives. Diana is also survived by her daughter, Sheila D. Townsend, Topeka, KS; son, Allan R. Green, Emporia, KS; sister, Karen S. Allen (Glen); step-daughters, Brenda Thomson (Andrew) and Vinessa Polender (Westley) & step-son Tom Hay (Deborah Collins); 13 grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Brandon, Ginger, Thomas, Jason, Janet, Nicholas, Barbara, Tiffany, Molly, Meghan, Bradley; 30 great-grandchildren, Harley, Zoey, Chloe, Wilder, Corbin, Brailey, Isaiah, River, Zayden, Braydon, Cayden, Brian, Jose, Thomas, Cody, Bryce, Christian, Ellie, Carol, Aaron, Katherine, Sierra, Skyler, Alyssa, Andrew, Joshua, Oliver, Caleb, Liliana, Liam; 2 great great-grandchildren, Keith & Aristella and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy; daughter, Margaret G. Spicer; brothers, Vernon Settlemyer & Gordon Settlemyer; sisters, Jean Qualls & Mary Lou Hadley, and 3 grandchildren, Chad Thomas, Josh Townsend & Heather Hay.
Diana and first husband, Roy, owned and operated Reeble Monument in Emporia until his death, then she continued with the business until her retirement.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Emporia, and had been a Girl Scout leader for 6 years.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be conducted at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM. Graveside Services will be at the Geneva Cemetery, Geneva, Kansas, southeast of LeRoy, Kansas, at 2:30 P.M.
A memorial has been established to the Girl Scouts, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801
