Donald F. Haag (83) of Olpe died Sat. Dec. 11, 2010 at the Holiday Resort Care Center in Emporia.
  
  
  Donald F. Haag, the son of John A. and Irma Striegel Haag, was born on Aug. 4, 1927 in Olpe.
  
  
  He is survived by: seven sisters, Phyllis (John) Wilson, Marilyn Allen, and Wilma (John) Flattery all of Wichita, Margaret Haag of Garden City, Elizabeth (Patrick) Geraghty of Emporia, Anita (Fred) Burenheide of Olpe, Carol (Gilbert) Hurley of Dallas, TX; three brothers, John (Pam) Haag of Broken Arrow, OK, Bro. Michael Haag O.F.M. of Zuni, NM, Richard J. (Janet) Haag of Emporia; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
  
  
  He was preceeded in death by: two brothers, Irvin and Robert Haag; and one sister, Joan LaCour.
  
  
  Don had been a 37 year employee of Kansas Power and Light Co., working in the gas pipeline division. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Olpe Knights of Columbus.
  
  
  The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 A.M. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olpe. Fr. Anthony Williams will be the celebrant. The rosary will be recited 7 P.M. Thursday Dec. 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 P.M. until the rosary Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Olpe. Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School can be sent in care of the funeral home.
