Donna Jean Lowry, 51, of Emporia, Kansas, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, Newman Regional Health, Emporia.
Donna was born on July 29, 1962 in Kimball, Nebraska, the daughter of Wayne and Doreen Robinson Sharpton of Lancaster, TX. She married Chris Lowry on March 22, 1996. He survives at the home.
She is survived by a son, William Travis Richard and wife Angela of Americus, Kansas; daughters, Britney Hinrichs and husband Tyler of Americus, and Callie Lowry of Emporia; granddaughters, Aubrey and Addisyn Hinrichs, and a grandson Bode Richard on the way; brothers, Daniel Byers of Whitehouse, Texas and Dennis Byers of Mesquite, Texas; and a sister, Dee Ann Richard of Emporia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, David and Duane Sharpton.
Donna was a medical receptionist in Emporia, and was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Emporia. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Cremation will follow the service.
