Donnia R. Briar, 71 of Emporia, Kansas died Friday, July 7, 2017 at Life Care Center in Burlington, Kansas.
Donnia was born June 4, 1946 in Colwich, Kansas the daughter of Ervin and Edna May (Villines) Baucom. She worked over 30 years as a clerk at the Lyon County District Court in Emporia until her retirement. Donnia had been a part of a bridge club many years ago.
Donnia is survived by her sons Rusty Briar and wife Audrey of Emporia Randy Briar and wife Debbie of Emporia, brothers Ken Baucom of Edmund, Oklahoma, Coy Gene Baucom of Mulberry, Arkansas, Dean Carpenter of El Reno, Oklahoma, and grandson Cody Briar of Emporia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation is planned with no service at this time.
