Doris Ann Hankins, 75, of Emporia, Kansas, died on August 4, 2013 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor.
Doris was born on November 2, 1937 in Emporia the daughter of Walter and Clara Lockard Pearson. She married Don C. Hankins on June 24, 1956 in Neosho Rapids, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Kelly Hankins and wife Debbie of Haysville, Kansas; daughter, Vickie Entwisle and husband Bill of Neosho Rapids; her brother, Don Pearson and wife Mary Lou of Neosho Rapids; four grandchildren, Shawn Hankins, Lindsey Hankins, Adam Entwisle, and Alexis Entwisle; three great-grandchildren, Cooper Hankins, Jackson Entwisle, and Emily Entwisle.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Colleen Pearson.
Doris was a homemaker and also drove a school bus for the Wichita School District.
Cremation has taken place, with a graveside service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Forest Hill Cemetery, east of Emporia.
