Dorothy Mae Bosse, 78, formerly of Emporia, Kansas, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka, Kansas.
Dorothy Mae Castle, the daughter of Theodore Addison and Willie Mae Miller Castle, was born March 12, 1935 in Crawford, Oklahoma. She was co-owner of a mobile home park and transportation company, retiring in 1998, and was an active member of American Business Women’s Association.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Timothy Craig Sappington, Sr. of Wilcox, Arizona and Harold Lee Sappington Jr. of Roswell, New Mexico; one daughter, D. Allinayah Archer of Lawrence, Kansas; one sister, Mary Jane Bedlien of Emporia; eight grandchildren, David Charles, Joseph Charles, Gaia Schellman, Crystal Sappington, Kate Sappington, Timothy C. Sappington, Jr., Shelby Forchtner and Travis Sappington; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Gene Castle and E J Miller; and one sister, Pauline Baker.
