Douglas Aeschliman, 56, Emporia, Kansas, died at his home Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Douglas Dale Aeschliman was born on October 2,1968 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Edward and Marsha (Buckridge) Aeschliman. He is survived by his loving mother, Marsha Aeschliman, of Emporia, daughters; Michelle Spencer, Kansas and Amber Lockhart (Shawn Bergman), Saint Benedict, Kansas, son; Mason Sutterlin (Jennifer), Wilmington, North Carolina, brothers; Randall Aeschliman (Dana), Skiatook, Oklahoma, and David Aeschliman (Michelle), Emporia, Kansas, grandchildren; Zoey, Jaxson, & Kasen Lockhart, Silas & Sebastian Bergman, and Layla, Cora, & Rylie Sutterlin, and his constant companion, his sidekick and forever shadow-his dog, Ammo. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
He was employed in construction until retiring due to disability.
Cremation is planned, a Celebration of Life will be planned and announced at a later time. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
