Douglas Kirk Johnson of Emporia died on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his home. He was 58.
Doug was born on August 8, 1962 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Ronnie and Harriet Kessler Johnson. Doug was married to Cyd for 24 years but later divorced.
Surviving family members include: mother, Harriet Emley of Emporia; brother, Eric A. (Tresa) Johnson of Emporia; sisters, Lisa Johnson (Darin) Pike of Cleora, Oklahoma, and Angela Phares of Vancouver, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his father Ronnie Johnson.
Doug was a truck driver for Norfolk Iron and Metal and Budweiser.
Cremation is planned with a private graveside at Evergreen Cemetery south of Emporia. Memorial contributions to Valley Hope of Moundridge, Kansas can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801
