Edith Goodwin

Edith Marie Goodwin of Emporia, born August 27, 1939, in Quincy, IL went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026. Edith is survived by her 14 children, numerous grandchildren and too many great grandchildren to count. Edith endured many trials and tragedies in her life, but through it all she showed her deep love for her family with a smile and laughter. She taught the importance of family, hard work, determination, and that same laughter to her children. Edith’s passing will leave a hole in the hearts of her family, but they have solace knowing she is home with her beloved Bob and her Lord and Savior. There will be a private celebration of life for family at a later date where they will remember with reverence her endurance, strength and deep love.
