Edna MaryAnn Glaser, 93, of Emporia died on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor, Emporia.
Edna was born on July 9, 1923 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of William John and Edna Sarah Reider Morgan. She married Merle Leland Glaser of February 15, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas. He died on July 3, 1990 in Emporia.
Surviving family members include: grandchildren; Brandi Sanders of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tiffany Basinger of Overland Park, Kansas, D.J. Glaser of Louisburg, Kansas, Tony Glaser of Pennsylvania, and Todd Glaser of Wyoming; several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Dennis Glaser and Leland Glaser, sister Ruth Rees, brothers Art Morgan, Harry Morgan, Bob Morgan, and Francis Morgan.
Edna was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia following the service. Memorial contributions to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo can be sent in care of the funeral home.
