Eileen Ann Kellie

Eileen Ann Kellie, Emporia, Kansas, passed away in her home on January 18, 2024. She was 73 years old.

Eileen was born on August 13, 1950, in Fairbury, Nebraska, the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Nespor) Kellie.

She worked at Hopkins in Emporia for 25 years as a manager in sales and marketing. She retired in August of 2016.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Eileen knows what an amazing, caring, loving, and witty person she was. She would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include daughters Amanda Jones, (Sioux City, IA); Kathleen Black, (Portland, OR); step daughters Angela Jones, (Dallas, TX); Adri Jones, (Denver, CO); step son Anthony Jones, (Hurst, TX); step son Travis (Jeana) Thurston, (Peculiar, MO); sisters Elaine (Steve) Cullhane, (Omaha, NE); Julia Kellie, (Omaha, NE); grandson Jaxon (Niko) Black, (Portland, OR); and life partner Roland Webb, (Emporia, KS).

She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Jan Buhman.

Funeral services will be held at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, 605 State Street, Emporia, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Following the service, cremation will take place.
