Funeral Services for Elizabeth Williams will be held at Victory Fellowship Foursquare Church, Emporia, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. The service will be conducted by Pastor Michael Stubbs of the church. Interment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.

The family will receive friends at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home Monday evening, March 25, 2013 from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Williams passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Cottonwood Falls, Kansas at the age of 88.

Elizabeth Holt was born in Emporia, on November 13, 1924, the daughter of Orlando and Ernestine (Curl) Holt. She married Rex A. Williams at Emporia, on March 5, 1949. He died at their home August 17, 2000.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Cathy E. Harvey, Emporia; sons, Steve Williams, Colorado, Gary L. Williams, Wichita, Kansas, John A. Williams, El Paso, Texas, and Michael A. Williams, Wichita; eighteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Rex A. Williams, Jr.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Victory Fellowship Foursquare Church, she was also a life-member of the Girl Scouts of American, had served as a Den Mother in Cub Scouts, and President of the P.T.A. at William Allen White Elementary School, as well as President of the P.T.A.
