Emily Jane Armour

Emily Jane Armour of Olpe passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Newman Regional Health.  She was 21.

Emily was born on July 9, 1997 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Timothy and Sarah King Armour.

Surviving family members include: mother, Sarah Armour of Olpe; brother, Lane Armour of Olpe; Sisters, Elizabeth Dingler of Dacono, Colorado Lindsey Hansen of Allen; Becky Nading of Emporia, and Shannon Vogts of Emporia; Nephews, Ethan and Nathan Hansen; Nieces, Harley, Zoey, and Chloe Vogts, and Elliot Dingler.

She is preceded in death by her father Timothy Armour, and grandparents Betty and Chuck Newlin.

Emily was known for her crafts she constructed for other people whether it be something she painted, sewed, or quilted.  She made doll furniture and clothing for her niece.  Emily just enjoyed taking something and making it special for someone.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home with burial following at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Olpe.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Jefferson County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
