It is with deep sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Emily Jane Robinson, 88, of Harveyville, KS. Emily entered the Kingdom of Heaven on June 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Emily was born on July 9, 1937, in Chanute, KS, to Harold and Lois (Smoykefer) McNeal. She married the love of her life, Harold Dean Robinson, in Chanute, KS, on October 6, 1957.

As a dedicated farmer's wife, Emily was the true anchor of her home. She worked tirelessly alongside her husband and three boys while operating the family farm in Kansas and running a custom harvesting business that took them across numerous states. They welcomed help from across the United States and multiple foreign countries each season. Emily treasured the years spent traveling with her family and the people that she met along the way. She often said she wished she had kept better records of those journeys and the many memories they made together.

She grew up learning the values of hard work and faith. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Church and a cherished member of her community. Emily lived a full and beautiful life. She found joy in the simple things: sunflowers in bloom, sewing, cooking, caring for her dogs, watching the milo grow and the birds outside her window. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family. Through her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit, she touched the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Emily was reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, her parents, and her dear sister, Joan Awald.

Emily is survived by her sons, Kevin (Kim) Robinson, Scott Robinson and Doyle Robinson (Michelle Hofman). She was the cherished grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Kolton (Sarah) Robinson, Keaghan (James) Walker, Karsynn (Brian) Black, Houston Robinson, Samantha Robinson, Doyonna (Matthew) Shults, Johnavin Robinson and Skyler Lewis and her nine great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Kyliee and Kash Robinson, Cade and Collins Walker, Wyatt and Westin Black and Aaliyah and Alijah Robinson. Her beloved sisters, Caroline Smith, Hannah Welniak, Susan Luellen, and Judi Highbaugh; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Miller United Methodist Church, Miller, Kansas, on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6-7:30 P.M.
