Evelyn “Rosie” Cyphers Kelley, Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Emporia, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the age of 87.
The daughter of Charles D. and Grace Shirley, she was born October 26, 1924 in Fontana, Kansas.
She married Marvin A. Cyphers on April 12, 1943. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert H. Kelley on November 27, 1984. He also preceded her in death on March 17, 1991.
She is survived by sons, Paul Douglas Cyphers, Colorado, and Marvin A. Cyphers, Jr. of Tennessee; daughter, Marlene Bowman of Wichita; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kelley worked at Interstate Brands/Dolly Madison bakery for 20 years.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Colerick of First Christian Church will conduct the service.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Emporia Friends of the Zoo.
